Imovie Revision Test - 2

1. How to import footage to the timeline?
Using a USB port or firewire cable plugs he camera into your computer
- You can simply drag movies USB port into clips or File - Import

2.  Opening a New project, What type of project should you choose and what settings are appropriate for this program?
- When opening a new project - Setting 1080i, save to hard drive ( Because it's such a big folder) 

3. How many frames per second do you need to set this project to in Imovie's preferences?
- 25 fps (iMovie) Preferences

4. How do you separate and remove the audio from the footage?
- Separating the sound from the video

5. Describe the process of uploading a sound effect from a website and bringing into your timeline?
 - Upload sound effects - Type into Google, Choose a Sound Effect - Dowload & save as QuickTme movie then Import and Save
 6. Imovie have a help desk?
- How to reflect colour on an image while everything else stays black and white ?

7. How do you cut a piece of footage from the timeline?
- Click on Footage - Command T

8. Discuss the functions of these two buttons:
- Function Clock is a symbol of the timeline
- The other one is for each separate shot

9. When you adjust this line - what does it d to your project?
- Adjusts the zoom of selected shots

10. What would you use these two buttons for?
 - If you have Firewire plugged in it will appear here

- Bring in a Theme, make adjustments - Images into Drop Zone, etc.

- Transitions (One thing to the next)
